The Visalia Elks Lodge #1298 (Visalia, CA) will be hosting it's first Red Ribbon event on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at 3100 W.Main Street, Visalia, CA. This carnival is free and open to the public. Carnival game booths will be run by local Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups . As part of their Drug Awareness Program, the Elks will have informative handouts about underage drinking and illegal use of drugs. Local "kid-friendly" businesses (dance, martial arts, sports teams, etc) as well as our Police Athletic League are invited to have information booths and/or demonstrations to show parents the wealth of Healthy Alternatives available in our community.
